Lazarus come forth!
John 11:1-43
Lazarus is raised by Christ from the dead. Before that could happen Jesus had to work with the people’s faith. He commanded them to roll the stone off the grave, they did so which in itself was an act of faith.
Even though mary & martha had informed Jesus that lazarus’ body was probably decaying after 4days
- faith requires acting (rolling the stone)
- Faith is usually contrary to circumstances (decayed bodyu)
- Faith requires speaking to the situation (Lazarus come forth)
